The goal of this game is to have the 1275 km-diameter ball turning:

  • Each time you connect, you give it 1km/h. It also loses 1km/h in 10 seconds (because it is quite big).
  • The application looks from where you connect (using your IP address, no information is sent) and counts the hit for your country, adding it to the score. The bigger score the better!

In real time, you can see the top ten countries at the left, and the current information concerning the ball at the right. The bottom lines show your country's information and the total time elapsed. You can also see a mark on the capital of your country. It indicates you just have participated!

To play, you just have to connect. Each time you see the ball, you participate! You can also press the red button (new!), press it to add some hits, and release it when you want to send them!
I have removed the 3D versions, as there was too much trouble with Java3D, so you have a top-down view of the earth.

The ball really turns, but the scale is respected! Try to ask your friend to help pushing it, and if you are successful enough, you might see it turning! Or you can see in the "Score" web page how much your country has participated.

You need to install the right version of Java only once, then you can play each time without reinstalling it. Internet Explorer is furnished with a very old version of Java, and it is recommended to update it anyway.

The Giant Ball is a free, open multiplayer game. You do not need to register, you will not receive anything from us, and we will not get any information from you. It is just a new concept of game, and we hope you can enjoy it with all your friends.
